Review German Freestyle Battle 2.0 & PWA Sylt
Eine Woche bevor die PWA auf Sylt begann, trafen sich die besten Deutschen Freestyler in Großenbrode beim Abschlusscontest der German Freestyle Battles. Es war ein super Event! Wind, Sonnenschein, bissl kalt und eine Menge Action auf dem Wasser. Nachdem ich in der Single nicht viel Glück in der Auslosung hatte, kam ich nur eine Runde weiter und flog dann gegen Mathias Genkel raus. Die Double brachte mehr Glück und ich konnte mich immer weiter vor fahren, bis der Wind dann nachließ und wir die Heats abbrechen mussten. Daher nur der 9. Platz! Die PWA Sylt war mal wieder echt cool und hat viel Spaß gebracht, wohl das Wetter echt Saumäßig war...es hatte wohl guten Wind, doch der Regen störte das Gesamtbild ein wenig.
In der Single war ich mit 5.0 überpowert, Chop bis zu 2m und ein Adrien Bosson aus Frankreich hatten es mir sehr schwer gemacht weiterzukommen. Die Double startete einige Tage später, die Bedingungen waren gut. Bei Südwind und wenig Chop hatte man diesmal mehr Chancen einen Trick zu stehen als in der Single. Doch ein Gegner wie ein Top15 Fahrer Jacapo Testa aus Italien waren auch hier schwierig zu schlagen. Konnte all meine Moves stehen und hatte sogar gute Backloop Versuche rauswärts. Doch die Judges waren nicht auf meiner Seite ;P
Seitdem ich nun aus Sylt zurück bin liege ich mit einer starken Erkältung im Bett und es wird leider nicht besser. Die Arztbesuche habe ich schon hinter mir, Antibiotika ist nun leider meine Tagesdroge.
Somit kann ich auf keinen Fall nächste Woche zu den letzten zwei Tourstops der EFPT in Frankreich und England fliegen, was mich sehr frustriert da ich ein Top16 Overallplatz mir einfahren wollte.
Hoffe ich bin in 3 Wochen(laut Arzt) wieder fit um die restlichen Herbststürme auszunutzen!
